One of my favourite things about summer is having time to explore our area, collecting photos for paintings. But recently, I’ve allowed myself to show an appreciation for talented friends whose photography skills are incredible. It also allows me to visually “travel” without being able to leave home. This painting is based on Alana Atkinson’s recent work; her ability to search for moments of beauty inspires me, fuelling my own drive to create.
